I am aware, of course, that no Ruler can expect complete loyalty from his subjects until he has been tested in office (146-147).
Why does Creon expect complete loyalty? He states that loyalty will not be there in the beginning but his words assume that it will come after testing, why? Did a previous ruler set this precedent.
